"The mission of the Omni Residency in Ocular Disease is to train the post-graduate optometrist beyond the entry level in the management and co-management of ocular disease through concentrated clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular disease, pre- and post-surgical ophthalmic care, and systemic disease with ocular manifestations. Individuals who complete the program are expected to be able to deliver an advanced level of clinical care in ocular disease; serve as teachers in optometric institutions; and serve the profession of optometry as experts and leaders in the area of ocular disease."

Selection Procedure and Admission Criteria:

1) Prior to matriculation, the applicant must have received O.D. Degree from a school or college of optometry accredited by ACOE; 2) successful completion of NBEO exams; 3) current curriculum vitae; 4) three letters of recommendation from faculty /preceptor; 5) official transcript; 6) letter of intent
